Our market focus is on corporate clients at Class A office buildings, manufacturing, R&D, warehouses, and other commercial facilities. We do not provide security at residential housing complexes, retail stores, sporting events, concerts, and the like. This focus enables us to develop consistent procedures in hiring, training, supervising, and monitoring performance across our entire company.

Dan Miranda, President, founded Landmark Protection in 1997. His goal was to create a regionally focused security service company which would enable the speed, flexibility and local presence to meet clients’ unique and diverse security service needs in Silicon Valley.
Dan brings over two decades of operational experience in the corporate security industry. Prior to founding Landmark Protection, he was the COO at a national outsourcing firm and Group Vice President at a large national security company. He is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University, and an MBA from Harvard University. In addition to building a strong management team, Dan Miranda is committed on a daily basis to Landmark Protection’s operational excellence.
